WAVE DISSIPATING DEVICE AND ELASTIC RESPONSE REDUCING SYSTEM FOR MEGA-FLOAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave dissipating device capable of dissipating waves without hindering going and coming of an ocean current and being affected by depth and an elastic response reducing system for a mega-float adopting this device. SOLUTION: In this wave dissipating device 10, a first flat plate 12 and a second flat plate 14 are arranged in a stair form. Floats 16 to be floating bodies are mounted on upper surface sides of the pair of flat plates 12 and 14. A frame body 20 assembled in a grid shape by using a plurality of pipes 18 for assembling is provided on lower surface sides of the flat plates 12 and 14. A swing suppressing plate 22 for reducing swinging of the wave dissipating device 10 is mounted on a lower surface of the frame body 20. When the wave dissipating device 10 is constituted in this way, a stationary position holding of the device itself becomes possible and reduction of a wave dissipating effect can be prevented by vertical movement of a submerged horizontal plate.
