<p>1281435 Valves COMPANION HEATERS PTY Ltd 26 March 1970 [1 April 1969] 14644/70 Heading F2V A gas valve has a single closure member operable by slow and rapid acting control devices. The closure member comprises a tyre valve 5 located between inlet 3 and outlet 4, its stem 6 being operable through a flexible diaphragm 7 by a push rod 11, which is adjusted to a "pilot" position by a screw 9 and knob 10, and can be moved rapidly to a "fully on" position by an over-riding spring button 17 acting through push member 19. When the button has been depressed it can be moved laterally to engage shoulder 26 under flange 15a to retain the valve in its "fully on" position.</p> |
