<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wall surface extending rearwardly of an air conditioner from being contaminated with condensation water on a rear side heat exchanger. SOLUTION: A casing is constructed with a body casing 2 and a front surface cover 3, in an upper surface of and in a front surface of which casing suction inlets 4, 7 are provided and in a lower front surface of which casing a blow-off outlet 6 is provided. A fan air passage is formed, extending from the suction inlets to the blow-off outlet, in which passage there are provided heat exchangers 9 respectively disposed into an inverted V shaped configuration oppositely to the body casing 2 and the front surface cover 3, at a lower portion of which heat exchangers 9 there is provided an air fan 10. Further, at a lower portion of the front side heat exchanger 9b facing the foregoing front surface suction inlet 4 a front side drain pan is provided for receiving condensation water from the foregoing heat exchanger, while at a lower portion of the rear side heat exchanger 9a facing the foregoing body casing 2 a dew reception section 12 is provided. Furthermore, rearwardly of the dew reception section 12 or downwardly of the same there is provided a back surface suction inlet 13, and on the back of the body casing 2 located downwardly of the back surface suction inlet 13 there is formed a back surface drain pan 15, and further there is provided a water splash preventing rib 14 is provided between the foregoing back surface suction inlet 13 and the back surface drain pan 15.</p> |
