PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for opening/closing a door of a vehicle, which enables the door of the vehicle to be easily and inexpensively put into a state which enables a fully closed state of the door of the vehicle even if it is impossible to detect a neutral position of an operating member capable of operating a latch mechanism in a coordinated manner. SOLUTION: A control device makes a program mode for controlling drive of a motor part shifted from a normal operation mode to an abnormal operation mode when judging that the neutral position of an operating gear cannot be detected. The control device has a function of operating the operating gear so as to put the door of the vehicle into an opened state in the abnormal operation mode, a function of operating the operating gear so as to put the door of the vehicle into the fully closed state under a state in which a striker is introduced into a latch, and a function of forcing the operating gear to come to a halt. This realizes the state which enables the fully closed state of the door of the vehicle.
