<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle made of a polyester composition excellent in mechanical properties, a gas barrier property, appearance, productivity and economical efficiency and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The bottle is formed from a polyester composition comprising 5-95 pts.wt. of polyethylene terephthalate and 95-5 pts.wt. of an amorphous polyester is obtained by stretching a preform having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.5-1.5 dl/g and satisfies the following formulae (1)-(4); (1) XB/xP>=3.5, (2) YB/yP>=2.3, (3) (XB/xP)/(YB/yP)>=1.3, (4) 0.031>=wP.tP/SB>=0.010 g/cm (wherein, xP is a central radius of the preform barrel, XB is a central radius of the bottle barrel, yP is a length of the preform extension part, YB is a length of the bottle extension part, wP is a weight of the preform excluding the preform mouth cock part, SB is an inner surface area of the bottle excluding the bottle mouth cock part and tP is a thickness of the preform barrel).</p> |
