PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy-saving type gas compressor preventing an electric energy required or more from being fed to an electro-magnet of a clutch part. SOLUTION: An electro-magnet energy control means for increasing/ decreasing an electric energy fed to an electro-magnet 42 of a clutch part D is provided. By this electro-magnet energy control means, for example, when a rotation driving force of the rotor 3 becomes smaller than the maximum value such as the time when the ON operation state of the clutch part D is maintained and the time when a discharge pressure of a high pressure refrigerant is low, it is prevented that a current required or more continuously flows to the electro-magnet 42 of the clutch part D.
