PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head device which can perform a correct tracking operation by securing the insulation between one electrode layer of a piezoelectric element and a load beam. SOLUTION: The magnetic head device 10 is provided with an elastic supporting member 11 to support a slider 21, and piezoelectric elements 12 and 13 mounted on the elastic supporting member 11. The piezoelectric elements 12 and 13 are composed of piezoelectric body layers 12a and 13a and an electrode layer 12b, etc. The elastic supporting member 11 consists of a fixed base end 11a and an oscillation part 11b freely oscillating to the fixed base end 11a. The piezoelectric elements 12 and 13 are arranged so as to bridge the fixed base end 11a and the oscillation part 11b. The piezoelectric elements 12 and 13, the fixed base end 11a, and the oscillation part 11b are joined by an adhesive resin containing a filler whose particle size is >=10μm.
