PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-resolution electrophotographic device, especially, a high-durability electrophotographic device which does not cause an image defect such as a white stripe with inexpensive constitution even when processing speed is high in a device for forming an image by scanning with a plurality of exposing light beams, and which can output and maintain an excellent photographic image. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic device is provided with an electrophotographic photoreceptor and an exposure means for forming an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor by the scanning with the exposing light beam based on image information. In the device, the spot diameter of the exposing light beam is 2.5 or more times as large as one pixel of the image formed by the device. The sensitive body is set so that the Fischer hardness of its surface is >=240 N/mm<2> , and NESA sensitivity is >=2000 V×cm<2> /μJ and has a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer whose thickness is <=30μm.
