PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrosion in the case of degreasing of oil stuck to the surface in the press working of an aluminum material with an alkali cleaning agent. SOLUTION: The substrate treatment is performed prior to a coating stage for an aluminum material. The surface of the aluminum material is coated with a substrate treatment agent containing metallic nitrate and a water soluble polyacrylic resin to form a substrate film. In this C(158, the Rz-Sc relation, i.e., the relation between the surface roughness of the aluminum material (Rz) and the content of solids in the resin in the substrate film (Sc) is located within the region surrounded by four points on (Rz, Sc) co-ordinates consisting of; the two points of (Rz: 0.5, Sc: 0.065) and (Rz: 0.5, Sc: 0.003)}; wherein, in the case the surface roughness (Rz) is 0.5μm, the content of solids in the resin (Sc) is 0.065 g/m<2> , and 0.003 g/m<2> ; and the two points of (Rz: 3.5, Sc: 0.03) and (Rz: 3.5, Sc: 0.003)}; wherein, in the case the surface roughness (Rz) is 3.5μm, the content of solids in the resin (Sc) is 0.03 g/m<2> , and 0.003 g/m<2> .
