PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable information equipment whose operability is comfortable for allowing each user to select and use a more convenient software keyboard displayed on the portable information equipment. SOLUTION: Software keyboards with a plurality of character arrays are preliminarily prepared so that it is possible for each user to select the software keyboard with his or her desired character array.
