PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a mouth mucoadhesive preparation that holds strong and sustained adhesiveness independently of existence or amount of water in the mouth mucous membrance surface and can be ideally used for mouth hygiene, prevention and treatment for mouth disease as well as for continuous application of preparations for systemic actions. SOLUTION: This composition for the mouth mucoadhesive preparation includes (A)polyisobutylene and/or polybutene, and (B)a water soluble polymer substance as main components.
