PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail processing system which analyzes the content of an electronic mail automatically and conducts processing according to the content of the electronic mail and answers the result by the electronic mail. SOLUTION: An electronic Mail processing system of this invention is equipped with a terminal device 30 such as a handheld terminal 30a and PC 30b, which transmits an electronic mail including a prescribed request and receives the result of the request by the electronic mail, the Internet 40, providers 50a and 50b who connect the terminal device 30 with the Internet 40, an electronic mail processing server 10, which analyzes the content of an electronic mail received at the terminal device 30 and conducts processing according to the content of the electronic mail and answers the result by the electronic mail, an application system 70, which executes a prescribed application in response to a processing request from the electronic mail processing server 10, and a network 60, which connects the electronic mail processing server 10 with the application system 70.
