<p>A compsn. for coating and cementing, pakced in containers impermeable to water, contains: (A) complementary water-insol. mineral substances of different particle size, (B) a mineral material having extremely fine grains, (C) organic binders, and (D) short, straight slender lastingly-elastic treads or fibres of a material which does not dissolve absorb or suck up water. (A) may be crushed marble, glass, gypsum or pumice. (B) may be talc, kaolin, bentonite, whiting, keiselguhr or slaked lime. (C) may be a mixt. of water-sol. cellulosic derivs. and an emulsion of oil and water cont. water-insol. organic cpds. The fibres (D) may be of alkali-resistant glass, polymer or metal. The material does not absorb moisture and does not suffer loss of mechanical strength.</p> |
