PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for a display having desired filter characteristics such as a function of shielding against electromagnetic waves, a function to intercept near IR rays and a function to improve the picture quality so that improvements such as a low cost, a lightweight and thin device, panel protective property, workability on failure and increased productivity can be realized, and to provide a display device mounting the filter and a method for manufacturing the device. SOLUTION: The filter for a display is composed of successively stacked layers of a transparent pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (C) 31 containing dyes, a polymer film (B) 20, a transparent conductive layer (D) 10, a transparent pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (E) 40 and a functional transparent layer (A) having antireflection property, hard coating property, gas barrier property, antistatic property and contamination preventing property, and is stuck to the upper face of a display part 00.
