PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester produced by using a novel polyester- polymerization catalyst other than an antimony compound. SOLUTION: The polyester comprises having a repeating unit of ethylene terephthalate, wherein the polyester is synthesized by a catalyst containing at least one of aluminum and an aluminium compound together with a phenolic compound, and provides a molded product having a temperature-programmed crystallization temperature of 150-170 deg.C as measured with a differential scanning calorimeter. |
