PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump structured without a holder attaching process to attach an exclusive holder to a pressure release valve and a fuel check valve and a deformation process such as caulking after the attachment of the holder. SOLUTION: A ball 12a of the relief valve (pressure release valve) 12, a coil spring (energizing member) for energizing the ball 12a in the valve closing direction, and a valve element 13a of the check valve (fuel check valve) 13 are clasped between a discharge cover 9 and a brush base 32.
