A lace-up mechanism is integrated in the shoe with the laces (1.2) inside a casing running over rollers (2.2) positioned on an axially rotating shaft (2.3) to the heel (1.1). The casing is embedded in the shoe and is not visible from outside. An electric /pneumatic drive is integrated in the shoe. The tightness of the lacing is regulated by a control.
