The unit has a coil body unit (12) with a central opening (22) and circular ends. The second end accommodates two connections (20). An outer housing (14) has 2 openings, the smaller one two essentially similar in size to the central opening. An annular region accommodates part of the second end of the coil body unit. A coil (18) wound on the coil body is electrically connected to the connections and configured to receive an electrical current. Independent claims are also included for the following: a coil unit and a method of assembling a coil unit for mounting above a valve unit.
