The cable channels have a U-shaped base that is enclosed by a cover. The cover is secured using clamping elements. The clamping elements have pins (7) onto which are located clamping plates (5). The plates are placed on the inside of the cover, and the edges can be made to engage flanges on the base by turning a center screw (12).
