PURPOSE: An apparatus for transforming a coordinate of a RADAR(RAdio Detection And Ranging) system is provided to reduce a time for transforming the coordinate by omitting a coordinate transform process for the same addresses. CONSTITUTION: An azimuth counter(110) indicates azimuth information of a RADAR signal. A distance counter(120) indicates distance information of the RADAR signal. An X-address up/down ROM table(130) uses output signals of the azimuth counter(110) and the distance counter(120) as address signals of a ROM and outputs a bit stream as address variation data of an X-axis corresponding to the address signals. A main X-address up/down counter(140) outputs an X-axis-address of a distance direction by using the first bit of the bit stream from the X-address up/down ROM table(130). A pixel X-address up/down counter(150) outputs an X-address of an azimuth direction by using the remaining bits except for the first bit of the bit stream from the X-address up/down ROM table(130). An X-address adder(160) outputs an address of the X-axis direction by adding the X-address of the pixel X-address up/down counter(150) to the X-axis-address of the main X-address up/down counter(140). A Y-address up/down ROM table(170) outputs the bit stream as address variation data of a Y-axis corresponding to the address signals by using output signals of the azimuth counter(110) and the distance counter(120) as address signals of the ROM. A main Y-address up/down counter(180) outputs a Y-axis-address of the distance direction by using the first bit of the bit stream from the Y-address up/down ROM table(170). A pixel Y-address up/down counter(190) outputs a Y-address of the azimuth direction by using the remaining bits except for the first bit of the bit stream from the Y-address up/down ROM table(170). A Y-address adder(200) outputs an address of the Y-axis direction by adding the Y-address of the pixel Y-address up/down counter(180) to the Y-axis-address of the main Y-address up/down counter(190).
