PURPOSE: Provided are a pad type waterproof sheet excellent in elongation and tensile strength, which can stand any cracks of a building and has a heat insulating effect, and a construction method thereof. CONSTITUTION: The pad type waterproof sheet comprises a PEP sheet formed by attaching a first polyester nonwoven fabric and a second polyester nonwoven fabric to the both sides of a heat-molten polyethylene film, a polyethylene crosslinked foam sheet attached to the second polyester nonwoven fabric, a third polyester nonwoven fabric attached to the polyethylene crosslinked foam sheet, wherein one side of the PEP sheet is extended more than 50mm. And the construction method comprises the steps of: impregnating the concrete ground with an epoxy resin as a primer; spreading a coating waterproof agent for adhesion after curing the primer; attaching the pad type waterproof sheets on the coating waterproof agent, wherein the extended PEP sheets overlap the upper surfaces of adjacent pad type waterproof sheets; forming an elastic coating waterproof layer; and forming a top coat on the coating waterproof layer.
