PURPOSE: A burner used in a gas boiler is provided to reduce harmful gases, such as CO, CO2, and NOx, which are discharged to an atmosphere, by carrying a catalyst in a metal and a metal fiber forming a burner. CONSTITUTION: A burner(12) consists of a metal(103) and a metal fiber(101). The metal(103) and the metal fiber(101) are subject to a wash coating process so as to allow the metal(103) and the metal fiber(101) to be plastic. Palladium is carried in the plastic carrier through an incipient wetness process. A Pd/ZrO2 catalyst system is obtained by performing a reducing process with respect to the plastic carrier, which is formed with palladium. By using the Pd/ZrO2 catalyst system, harmful gases discharged to an atmosphere, such as CO, CO2, and NOx, are reduced.
