A rigid vehicle bumper mounting adapted at opposite ends thereof for fixed attachment between a vehicle and a bumper thereof, characterized by the incorporation of an open ended peripherally walled hollow resilient but frangible element disposed intermediate of the opposite attachment ends of the mounting, an axis common to the ends of the hollow element being disposed substantially orthogonally to a longitudinal vehicle to bumper disposed axis of the mounting. |
