Force sensor for measurement of deformation caused by shear stress in a longitudinal bored hole that acts as a cylindrical receptacle for a force transmitting component that is pressed into it. Force sensor comprises a connection part (1), a tubular middle part (2) with a dividing wall, and an end part (3) in the form of a sealing cap. Strain gauges (5) are fixed to the dividing wall (4) for measuring the shear stress or shearing strain.
