<p>The apparatus for producing hollow plastic containers comprises a first station for moulding the components of the container and a second station for joining them together. The first station comprises a injection moulding tool with a stationary central platen(2) with runners feeding moulding tools(5,6) clamped to each side and two moving platens(3,4), one on each side of the central platen, carrying the outer tool parts(7,8) and enclosing cavities(9,10) for forming two complementary halves (11,12) of the container. Transfer equipment for moving both moulding halves to the joining station is located between the latter and the injection tool.</p> |
