PURPOSE: A drum type drying and washing machine is provided to heat washing water and air by using a single heater for reducing the energy consumption and increase the washing force by spraying the heated washing water from an upper part of the drum. CONSTITUTION: A drum type drying and washing machine includes a drum(4) mounted in a case, an air duct(12) for supplying heated air into the drum, a heater(16) and a blowing fan(14) mounted at predetermined positions of the air duct, a hot water duct(20) connected to a lower part of the drum at a side and to an upper part of the drum via the heater at the other side, and a pump(22) mounted at a predetermined position of the hot water duct for pumping hot water.
