Liquid film comprising a film-forming, aqueous plastic dispersion with conventional additives etc. for use in protecting painted motor vehicles during transport, in which the dispersion is free from release agents and contains at least two different plastic components. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of transport film by coating the above mixture onto the surface to be protected and then drying to a dry film thickness of 50-250 microns.
