METHOD FOR INPUTTING SHORT MESSAGE RECEIVER NUMBER USING SPEED DIALING

PURPOSE: A method for inputting a short message receiver number using speed dialing is provided to enable a user to input a speed dial number stored in his portable terminal when he sends a short message. CONSTITUTION: After inputting a speed dial number, a portable phone user selects whether he will make a voice call only or send a voice message or a short message. In case that the user wants to make a voice call only, he makes a voice call with the other side through the speed dial number. If the user wants to send a short message, he inputs the contents of a short message on the short message input screen and transmits it to the receiver of the inputted speed dial number.
