The cylinder roller bearing (1) has an outer race (2) and an inner race (3) retaining rollers (4) in a cage (5). The cage has an annular section (7) which remains outside the axial area of the rollers. The cage has pockets (8) connected to the annular section and within the axial region of the rollers. The outer diameter of the pocket section is larger than that of the edge of the annular section. The latter has a pair of ring sections (15,16), at least one of which has a discontinuity.
