METHOD FOR FABRICATING HEAT SPREADER BY USING STAMPING PROCESS AND HEAT TREATMENT PROCESS

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a heat spreader by using a stamping process and a heat treatment process is provided to remarkably increase precision of the heat spreader and to greatly decrease fabrication time, by eliminating stress generated in fabricating the heat spreader through the heat treatment process. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of holes which are standard points of cavity formation positions are formed on a heat radiating unit. A predetermined position of the heat radiating unit is stamped to form a cavity. A protuberance of the heat radiating unit generated by the stamping process is cut, and a polishing process is performed to make the cut portion have the same height as the periphery of the cut portion. A predetermined position of the heat radiating unit having the cavity is stamped to form a pattern. The polished portion is coated with blank ink. The cavity and its peripheral position are coated with an oxide layer. The coated heat spreader is heated at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined interval of time to remove residual stress generated in forming the cavity.
