The roads (A, B) meeting at the junction have their lanes arranged so that half of the lanes on each side of the road lead up a ramp at an angle of 8 deg. to an average height of 8 m, guided by cables (1-4) secured to the tops of supports (5-8). These ramps are also guided by cables (13-20) secured to further supports (9-12) held together by cables (21-24).
