Device for position determination, tracking and representation of a cursor-type indicator on a monitor or display in which the position signaler and the position it is indicating coincide on the screen. Thus a beam (wave or particle) is incident on a computer monitor indicating the position of a cursor. The beam source can be integral with receivers that are used to determine the beam position on the monitor, with a reflective arrangement used to guide the beam onto the screen.
