Method for managing mobile phone messages in which a message or text is entered with a first identifier. After entry of the first identifier, its corresponding second identifier is assigned to it and the message is transmitted based on the second identifier. The second identifier is a simple to remember name or title. INDEPENENT CLAIMS are made for a method in which a mobile phone user registers a receiver name with a service provider, so that other users can use the name to send massages to him and a payment method in which payment data are entered by a purchasing user along with a payment receiver name, where the name has been previously registered with a service provider.
