PURPOSE: A system and method for providing a real-time betting service connected with broadcasting using mobile communication is provided so that a user can participate in a betting game using various betting situations relayed through a television. CONSTITUTION: A betting service center(500) is comprised of a member information DB(502), a member authentication part(504), a service data storage part(506), a service data processing module(508), a short message transmission processing part(510), a betting data processing part(512), a betting result production part(514), and a profit-and-loss calculation part(516). The member information DB(502) stores information for members. The member authentication part(504) executes authentication for a connected member. The service data storage part(506) stores wireless Internet contents to be provided to mobile terminals. The service data processing module(508) provides a service data input format to a service controller(400), stores the service data inputted from the service data input module(420) of the service controller(400) in the service data storage part(506), and transmits the stored service data to mobile terminals. The short message transmission processing part(510) processes a short message transmission request transmitted from the service controller(400). The betting data processing part(512) receives betting requests and betting associated data from mobile terminals. The betting result production part(514) classifies betting results for the betting data processed through the betting data processing part(512) according to the results of the betting situations inputted through the service data input module(420). The profit-and-loss calculation part(516) calculates dividends and losses for the classified betting results. Also the betting service center(500) comprises a member virtual account(518), a compensation processing part(520), an electronic cash exchange processing part(522), a data storage part(524), a data communication part(526), and a service control part(528). |
