1294785 Animal growth-promoting feedstuffs RHONE-POULENC SA 19 April 1971 [6 Feb 1970] 21101/71 Heading A5B [Also in Division C2] A growth-promoting factor for addition to animal feedstuffs, more especially those for poultry and pigs, comprises 0.0005% to 0.005% by weight of a compound II or a non-toxic acid addition salt thereof. The compound II is derived from spiramycin or from one of its constituents spiramycin I, II or III by saponification. A concentrate for addition to animal feedstuffs comprises 0.005% to 99.9% by weight of the compound II or non- toxic acid addition salts thereof in association with a foodstuff and/or a pysiologically innocuous carrier. |
