PURPOSE: A deflection yoke for a CRT is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and prevent defects caused due to the short of deflection coil by preventing the necessity of stripping off coatings from both ends of horizontal and vertical deflection coils. CONSTITUTION: A color CRT comprises an electron gun for emitting three electron beams of R,G,B; a deflection yoke for deflecting electron beam to a predetermined side of a screen by using the magnetic field generated by applying a current to a horizontal deflection coil(210) and a vertical deflection coil(220); a shadow mask for discriminating colors of electron beam; and a screen where an image signal is reproduced by permitting electron beams to collide against a phosphor surface. When ends of the horizontal deflection coil, vertical deflection coil and a convergence yoke coil of the deflection yoke are connected to a connection pin of a correction circuit substrate, ends of the horizontal and vertical deflection coils are cut in an oblique manner, so as to thereby expand cross sectional area of copper layer.
