<p>At least one of the input fluids (A, B) is supercritical. The unit also contains a heater to heat at least one of the input fluids to above its supercritical temperature (T2). A pressure generator (C) pressurizes at least one of the input fluids to above its critical pressure (P2). At least one mixer mixes the fluids (A, B) upstream of the pressure generator. In addition there is means (11, 12) of controlling the quantity of at least one of the fluids and at least one cleaning device (E) for a pressed cleaning of the reformed material (R) to eliminate undesired components. The cleaning device comprises a selectively permeable membrane to separate the components from the reformed material. The reforming device (D) includes the cleaning device. Downstream of the reforming device is at least one means (F) of recovering the pressure of the undesired components and/or the reformed material. At least one return line returns at least some of the components and/or the reformed material to the reforming device. ALSO CLAIMED is an incinerator containing a reforming unit as described above where the resulting reformed material forms the fuel.</p> |
