Method and procedure for brake control

The method of brake control for a motor vehicle has the user actuating a brake locking motor. The current flow (I) consumed by the motor (4) is detected to determine (9) a locking force. The locking force value is compared to a predetermined ceiling and the force is maintained above the ceiling. The motor is supplied as a function of the locking value.
