Detachable adhesive strips (I) that are removable by pulling in the plane of the adhesive join without leaving residue and causing damage are claimed. (I) comprises an elastic support layer (II) coated either on one or both sides with an adhesive layer (III). (II) and (III) contain a base styrene block copolymer (IV) mixed with adhesive resins (V) that are compatible with (IV). The use of (I) is also claimed.
