<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a rubber roller without stretching an unvulcanized rubber roller in a string-like state when the unvulcanized roller is separated at each one by cutting an unvulcanized rubber composition and without damaging a mandrel at the unvulcanized composition cutting time. SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the rubber roller executes the steps of extruding the unvulcanized rubber composition by using an extruder, simultaneously continuously passing the mandrel through a cross head die of the extruder, disposing the unvulcanized composition on the outer periphery of the mandrel, and then cutting the unvulcanized composition near the end of the mandrel by a cutting blade. The apparatus further executes the step of heating by the cutter at 70 deg.C. The method for manufacturing the rubber roller in the apparatus.</p> |
