PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an easy inversion operation of the seat direction and obtain a satisfactory sitting feeling with a simple seat structure in an invertible seat for a vehicle, in which the sitting direction is invertible in both front and rear directions. SOLUTION: A seat cushion 11 and a seat back 12 are formed symmetrically in the front and rear directions. A cushion frame 13 is swingable against a support base (upper rail) 22 on the front and rear, which are selectively fixed to the support base 22 side, respectively, wherein the seat face position of the seat cushion 11 can be adjusted so that it is up either on the front or rear. A seat back frame 14 for the seat back 12, which is based on two link arms 15, 16, can be movable to the front or rear while the standing position of the seat back is maintained. The seat back frame 14 presses the cushion frame 13 to fix it, and is locked with a lock member 30.
