PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ffh(fifty-four homologue) polypeptide, a DNA (RNA) encod ing the polypeptide, a method for producing the polypeptide by the recombina tion method, and a method for using the polypeptide for the protection against the infection, particularly, by a bacterium. SOLUTION: A polynucleotide having a homology value of 90% or more to a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide including the amino acid sequence shown by sequence number 2 (see Specification) and a polypeptide encoded by the polynucleotide are provided. |
