<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent the information processor from being left as it is for a long time without being aware that a power-saving mode is functioning. SOLUTION: An illuminance sensor 25 is provided which measures the illuminance in the room wherein an information processor main body 10 is installed. A power-saving controller 19 sends a power-down signal PD out unless key operation on a keyboard 11 is done for a certain time to switch a display unit 12 to a non-view display state. In this state, when the illuminance sensor 25 detects certain darkness and an illumination-OFF signal OFF is inputted, the power-down signal PD is reset to put the display unit 12 back to the display state.</p> |
