PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromotive wheelchair with a system which prevents a clash between parts arranged inside a chair when it is folded. SOLUTION: The wheelchair 1 with a pair of frame bodies 2L, 2R on its right and left, which is collapsible in the direction of the center of the chair width comprises a pair of driving wheels 8L, 8R fixed to both sides of the chair behind the lower part of the frame bodies 2L, 2R, power units 13L, 13R, the each of which contains electric motors 12L, 12R located inside the driving wheels 8L, 8R, the electric motors made to protrude toward the inside of the chair 1, opposing each other, wherein an arrangement of an electric apparatus 14-16 is possible in a space given between the frame bodies 2L, 2R in a state where the chair 1 is folded with the protruded parts of the electric motors 12L, 12R being joined together one over the other.
