PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection welding method for a heat resisting component of stainless steel, which can increase jointing strength of a welded part. SOLUTION: A nut member 1, which is formed of stainless steel and has a projection 13, and the second heat resisting component 3, which is formed of stainless steel, are used for this method. The projection 13 of the nut member 1 and the component 3 are pressurized in a direction of a mutual approach, a current density is taken as 250 A/mm<2> or more, and a heat input velocity is taken as 2,000 A/mm<2> .sec or more. On such conditions, an electric current is passed via the projection 13 between the nut member 1 and the component 3, which are joined together by welding. |
