PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a framed ornamental article wherein the framed ornamen tal article body is efficiently prevented from being damage by rain water or moisture even when being displayed outdoor or in a bathroom, and at the same time, the framed ornamental article body can be efficiently prevented from becoming difficult to see or deteriorating due to ultraviolet rays, or the like. SOLUTION: This framed ornamental article is constituted of a frame body and the framed ornamental article body. In this case, a waterproof treatment or a water-repellent treatment is applied to the frame body. The framed ornamental body comprises a transparent sheet such as a glass sheet or an acrylic sheet, an ornament such as a picture or a pressed flower ornament which is arranged on the back surface of the transparent sheet, and a moisture-proof sheet. In this case, the transparent sheet is housed in the frame body, and to which a defogging treatment or a non-reflective treatment is applied. Also, the moisture-proof sheet fixes the ornament to the back surface of the transparent sheet under a sealed state, and is fixed to the outer peripheral section of the transparent sheet.
