PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner of simple structure which is suitable for a battery type industrial vehicle and gives a cool air in summer and warm air in winter. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a heat radiation fins 4 connected to the heat radiation surface of a Peltier element 7, a heat radiation fan 8 for passing the open air to the heat radiation fins 4, cooling fins 5 connected to the cooling surface of the element 7, a cooling fan 15 effecting inflow of the open air, passing it through the cooling fins 5, and exhausting it through the exhaust port 16, an agitating fan 13 provided near the center part of the cooling fins 5 for agitating the passing air by blowing to the base 5a side of the cooling fins 5, and a partition plate 18 provided around the cooling fins 5 to the leeward of the agitating fan 15 for intercepting the air passing around the cooling fins 5.
