PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of transferring slurry particularly a fine amount of the slurry without blocking a valve and piping by precipitation of the slurry by a method as simple as possible, by preventing a change of composition and concentration of the slurry adjusted in a regulation tank, in this invention related to the method of transferring a small amount of the slurry via a pipe line having an adjusting valve from the slurry regulation tank. SOLUTION: In the method transferring slurry from a circulating pipe line provided in a first tank to a second tank via an adjusting valve, the problem by precipitation of the slurry is solved by constituting a pipe line in such a manner that this adjusting valve is positioned upward from a branch of this circulating pipe line, relating to the pipe line from this adjusting valve to this blanch, an inflow angleθ1 of the slurry of the circulating pipe line in this blanch is 90 degrees or more and an outflow angleθ2 of the slurry isθ1 to 180 degrees.
