PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a page changing miss might occur due to an increase in a sheet deforming resistance by an initial deformation of a book in an apparatus for turning over a page to execute the page changing by a reaction of a deformation of a rubber having a hollow structure of a page changing means. SOLUTION: The apparatus for turning over the page comprises a rugged part provided on a conveying passage 4. Thus, when the page is changed, the book can be set to a primarily deforming mode by a page changing roller 1. As a result, a page changing miss is eliminated in the book, and a conveying jam brought about by the miss can be obviated.
