PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain shoe cover having a simple structure equipped with a plurality of hooks thereon, which cover can be easily fitted onto a shoe and does not slip away therefrom after fitting. SOLUTION: A substantially cylindrical rain shoe cover 1 is fitted onto a shoe in such a way as to surround the outer peripheral edge 2b of a sole piece 2c at the lower portion thereof. The rain shoe cover 1 comprises a combination of a core member 6 and an elastic member 6a provided around the lower portion thereof and a plurality of L-shaped hooks 7 provided at intervals on the member 6 or the elastic member 6a, so that the hooks engage with the bottom surface 2a of the sole piece 2c at the horizontal portions 7a thereof and the outer peripheral edge 2b of the sole piece 2c at the bent portions 7b thereof.
